In the case of the exhibiting houses, the judges highlight the best individual projects – a weight that is lifted off the shoulders of those who want to start the new construction process and who find themselves spoiled for choice with dozens of different styles, facades and layouts.

Even better, the list of winning builder projects is segmented by budget, starting at $250,000.

Winner between $250,000 and $300,000: Casas SJD

SJD Homes chose the most affordable category with its Savanna 223 display home, described by the judges as “a charming four-bedroom home, thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort, with two distinct living areas that meet families’ diverse needs modern. “

Aimed at first home buyers and investors looking to enter the property market, the judges praised the “smart use of space” in the Haven range, saying the developer is “demonstrating that affordability does not have to compromise quality”.

$300,0000 – $350,000 Winner: Metricon Homes

Australia’s largest homebuilder, Metricon Homes, has fetched the $300-$350,000 range for its single-storey Lloyd 29 design, which features an open space at the front of the house, creating a “separate sanctuary” away from the center main.

The judges noted that the four-bedroom home combines modern family living with space, functionality and flexibility as it can be easily customized and configured for a range of lifestyles and budgets.

Another hit from Beachwood Homes, its two-storey Lorne 40 display home features a Hamptons-inspired facade that sets it apart from the fray in the display village in Clyde North.

“When you enter, you are greeted by a floor plan designed with multigenerational families in mind. Each first-floor bedroom is equipped with a walk-in closet and private bathroom, ensuring a personal retreat for each member of the family.”

The home also includes living areas on both levels, a dedicated study area, large kitchen with pantry and a large master suite with luxurious bathroom and large walk-in wardrobe.

Special Commendation: Metricon Homes

It must have been a difficult decision to crown the $500-$750,000 category, as the judges gave special praise to Metricon Homes for their Botanica 36SL.

The beautiful single-level design works well on sloped blocks, utilizing split levels in the floor plan, which is spacious and functional.

“The heart of Botanica is its spacious open-plan living area, which includes a contemporary kitchen design with pantry, family room, dining area and outdoor room. This configuration is perfect for modern living, providing ample space for family gatherings and entertaining guests.”

$750,000 – $1 Million Winner: Roseleigh Homes

With the feel of a custom architectural build, it’s no wonder the Adah project by Roseleigh Homes took the winning spot for best show home over $750,000.
